Training & facilities
We have an Indoor heated swimming pool.
Classroom
Lectures are typically held in small groups so that interaction between the instructor and student is maintained.
In order to make the lectures interesting and engaging, a variety of handouts, powerpoint presentations, and hands on activities are used.
Pool Work
The classroom lectures are followed up with session in the pool. First the divers prepare their kit, initially under supervision of an instructor.
The lessons follow on to reinforce what is learnt during the classroom lessons.
Dry Work
Dry Practical Lessons, such as compass work, CPR, dive planning and chart reading are held in suitable locations for that particular lesson.
Open Water
Open Water lessons take place at a choice of inland dive sites, and coastal waters.
